Ireland has a long tradition of educating students from all over the world. With over 30,000 international students coming to study in Ireland each year, the country is quickly becoming one of Europe’s most popular destinations for overseas students.

Ireland enjoys an excellent international reputation for education and issues globally recognised degrees. The country has an excellent educational infrastructure which has contributed to the country’s well-educated and skilled young workforce. Ireland has always had a reputation for producing skilled graduates. This is no surprise considering that all of Ireland’s universities are ALL RANKED IN THE TOP 5% GLOBALLY

Ireland is the EU’s fastest growing economy, and is quickly establishing itself as the tech hub of Europe. Many multinational companies have chosen Ireland as their EU headquarters.

These companies have large operations in the country with many job opportunities for skilled graduates.

Ireland has one of the highest salary levels in Europe and continues to increase in prosperity, particularly now as the only English-speaking country in the European Union. Furthermore, Non-EU students who graduate from Irish universities are entitled to a two-year stay back visa upon graduating, allowing them time to build their careers before deciding to stay in the country or return home. Taking all of this into account, Ireland is a good choice for graduates who are prioritising their career and a return on investment on their tuition fees.

Campus Facilities

Irish universities boast state-of-the-art facilities and serve as the perfect environment for students to flourish. In addition to modern classroom facilities, the university campuses boast a range of onsite restaurants, cafes, banks, bookshops and convenience stores.

All of the universities have advanced IT and e-learning platforms along with dedicated language centres. Student accommodation consists of high-quality security-monitored residences either on campus or a short walk away (usually self-catering apartments with en-suite bedrooms).

Student Satisfaction

Living and studying in Ireland is an amazing experience for international students. Ireland is consistently voted a top destination in terms of international student satisfaction. Everything from teaching quality, campus facilities, accommodation, clubs and societies and welcome from the local population receives a 5 star rating. The world-class education in Ireland coupled with an unrivalled lifestyle and experience is what makes Ireland a unique destination for students from all over the world.

International Student Support

Due to their long history in international student admissions, our universities have excellent International Student Offices providing a one-stop shop on all aspects of coming to live and study in Ireland including advice, visa requirements, application procedures, accommodation and support services.

Student orientation programmes for international students commence before term starts and all students are assigned experienced mentors. Students settle in quickly, helped by peer support from other students, in particular the large number of international students.
